Blueberry Breakfast Loaf

It’s Blueberry season here in Ontario and we are supporting our friends over at Blueberry Hill Farms. This week, we had breakfast for lunch and we all enjoyed Fluffy Ricotta Pancakes with Maple Blueberry Sauce. With so many blueberries, I have given our Greek Yogurt, Honey. Oats & Blueberry Breakfast bowl a twist and made it into a Breakfast Loaf. This recipe is simple and makes a moist loaf, not only delicious for breakfast but enjoyed anytime of the day.

Hi Irene, I found your site from Wolfhead Distillery… This recipe calls for Rogers Original Porridge… Is there something I could substitute, or could I find it here in Windsor? The loaf sounds delicious, also can’t wait to try the upside down cake with the cinnamon whisky. Thanks.

      Hello Caroline,

Thank you so much for reaching out. Yes, absolutely, you can use any quick oats you have on hand, quaker etc… they all work as long as they are quick oats. So happy to hear. This loaf is actually my girls favourite. You will really enjoy it. The whisky cake is so good and Wolfhead Cinnamon s my favourite. Enjoy and please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. Warmest, Irene xo
